On the 21st and 22nd of November, the ‘Seoul Investors Forum’ hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and Korea Investment & Securities and organized by Invest Seoul was held at the Conrad Hotel, Seoul. Seoul Investors Forum is biggest event for Seoul based companies with high growth potential to seek investment opportunities by meeting foreign investors while investors can learn about the investment environment of Seoul. Here are more details about the Seoul Investors Forum which kicked off this year.
Seoul Investors Forum 2022 started with the grand opening followed by a panel discussion with famous foreign investors, IR Pitching of Seoul-based companies, one on one investment meetings matching Seoul-based companies with foreign investors and networking sessions. As part of the event, an investment MOU was signed between the Seoul Metropolitan Government and Eyeline Studios, a subsidiary of Netflix. The presence of numerous figures including the Mayor of Seoul, Oh Se-hoon, CEO and other executives from Eyeline Studios and famous investors around the world made the event more meaningful.
More than anything, providing the venue for the networking with foreign investors was the key of this forum. During the two-day forum, a total of 27 Seoul-based companies had IR pitching and 28 well-known global investors were invited to examine their potential. After the pitching, a one on one meeting followed.
Additionally, investors from home and abroad and companies were gathered at the Networking Night on the first day of the forum to share ideas on investment trends and key global issues through socializing.
Seoul Investors Forum 2022 marked a good start as a global investment festival that will contribute to creating a sound investment environment and more jobs leading to robust investment attraction at the end.
