Invest Seoul is offering a variety of support programs for Seoul-based companies to make their sustainable growth and expand into the global markets.
For instance, in 2022, we supported Seoul-based companies to participate in the global leading exhibitions(Bio USA, GITEX North Star), and startup conference(Collision). And furthermore, we provided one-on-one meetings between Seoul-based companies and foreign investors by visiting investors(Silicon Valley IR events, SingaporeFintech Festival) and by inviting investors(Seoul Investors Forum 2022) as well.
From February 2023, it will be offered as a hybrid IR meeting that mixes online and offline to overcome time-space constraints. When investors can not make it to visit Seoul in person, they can see the IR pitchings of companies online in real time. We expect it will give foreign investors more deal-sourcing opportunities and Seoul-based companies having chances to meet investors from various regions.
Invest Seoul first analyzes foreign investors’ investment preferences(investment round/size, sectors, etc.), and connects Seoul-based companies which meet the demand, especially CORE 100 companies selected by Invest Seoul, as matching candidates.
Invest Seoul, which supports all stages from deal-sourcing to investment review, due diligence, and investment contracts continue to give practical help even when the IR meeting is completed. Invest Seoul can cover part of the expenses related to the investment process above mentioned for investors and companies.
Invest Seoul will continue its multilateral efforts to connect foreign investors who are interested in investing in Seoul-based companies and companies seeking to attract foreign capital.
