□ Invest Seoul, the foreign investment promotion agency of the Seoul Metropolitan Government, successfully hosted the East-West Biopharma Summit held in Seoul from March 9 to 11, creating a platform for global collaboration in the biotech sector.
□ The summit is a global biopharma partnering event where major pharmaceutical companies, investment institutions, and biotech firms gather to explore networking and collaboration opportunities. The event was jointly organized by Invest Seoul, Maeil Business Newspaper, and the Korea Biotechnology Industry Organization, and was held in Seoul for the first time.
□ The main event took place at The Westin Josun Seoul Hotel, featuring conferences, biotech company presentations (IR), and one-on-one meetings.
- More than 400 participants, including global pharmaceutical and biotech industry representatives and investors, registered for the event
- Over 600 business meetings and 400 one-on-one meetings were held
□ Invest Seoul supported the participation of 11 Seoul-based biotech companies, including 8 companies that delivered IR presentations. The foundation also introduced its initiatives to overseas investors and companies while facilitating connections between global investors and Seoul-based biotech firms.
