Supporting to activate foreign direct investment(FDI) and attract strategic industries in Seoul by providingone-stop services from investment preparation to notification, management, and follow-up support to global companies entering Seoul.

How to apply

Size of support according to the amount of foreign direct investment(FDI)

FDI over KRW 1 billion: Support Of KRW 10 million only once

FDI over KRW 10 billion: 2times per investment, KRW 20 milion each

FDI over KRW 50 billion: 3times per investment, KRW 30 milion each

Strategic industries in Seoul provide KRW 10 millionin FDI companies or overseas financial companies (investment of KRW 100 million to KRW 1 billion, Only once)

Seoul City Incentives

Cash grant

• For costs related to the purchase or leasing of land / buildings, construction.
• Expenses for purchasing capital goods and research equipment, installation of infrastructure, etc.

Employment and Training Subsidies

• Up to KRW 200 million per company for employment and training subsidies.
• For each additional employe eover the 5 local employees, subsidies of KRW million per person are provided for a period of up to 6 months.

Rental Subsidies

• Rental fee: up to 50% of the rent (excluding rental deposit)
• Duration: Within the lease contract period, up to 5 years
• Payment: Annual lease payment support through a post-settlement method.

Seoul-Type Incubator Facility Occupancy Support

• Seoul Startup Hub, Seoul Bio Hub, Seoul Fintech Lab, Seoul A Hub, DMC Hi-Tech Industry Center, DMC Industry-Academic Cooperation Research Center, and more

According to the occupancy conditions, duplicate applications for incubation facilities are not allowed

Seoul Financial Hub Occupancy Support

• Providing guidance on domestic financial and living environments for foreign employees
• Supporting networking events among financial institutions such as banks and investment firm
• Supporting shared spaces including meeting rooms, seminar rooms, and similar facilities

Seoul City incentives are provided according to the selection procedures of each institution.
