Invest Seoul provides customized contact opportunities between Seoul companies and overseas investors.
1. Overview
▢ Program : Invest Seoul CORE 100 2nd recruitment
▢ Purpose : Increase the possibility of attracting foreign investment and support global growth by providing customized contact opportunities with global investors for promising companies in Seoul.

2. How to apply

▢ Recruitment size: around 40 companies
▢ Eligibility: Companies that meet all of the following conditions and are not eligible for 'exclude’
Eligibility | - A company based in Seoul ※ A company whose main business is located in Seoul, such as its headquarters, sales offices, research institutes, etc |
- New Growth Industries of Seoul ※ AI, Bio and Healthcare, Fintech and Blockchain, Smart mobility, Robots, Fashion and Beauty, Media contents, etc |
- A company ready for overseas expansion ※ A company that has established strategies for attracting foreign investment and overseas expansion, such as possessing human resources who speak foreign languages and possessing corporate introduction materials in foreign languages |
- Companies with a history of attracting investment |
Exclude | - Companies not eligible for support (NOT located in Seoul) - Submitted application forms and documents are insufficient - Companies restricted from participating in projects by the government or public institutions - Businesses that are closed or not in operation - A person or enterprise regulated by national or local tax arrears - A company listed in a credit institution for default - A person or enterprise subject to restrictions on participation in government-funded projects due to violation of the Subsidy Act - Other enterprises that are deemed inappropriate for support due to social controversy | ※ If the above excluded items are found after the selection evaluation, the relevant support may be canceled |

3. Evaluation
▢ Method of evaluation: evaluation of a submitted application form, IR deck, etc
▢ Composition of judges: 3 to 5 external experts in each field
▢ Criteria
- (Document review) Whether the submitted documents are prepared, whether they are eligible for support, etc
- (Document evaluation) Comprehensive evaluation such as marketability, preparation for overseas expansion, excellence in attracting investment, and business promotion capabilities
4. Others
▢ Precautions
- All submitted documents will not be returned.
- Applications are not recognized for applications that do not follow the application procedures recognized in this notice.
- If the submitted documents are insufficient and the selection evaluation cannot be carried out, they shall be excluded from the evaluation, and at this time, Invest Seoul may request the supplementation of the documents over a certain period of time.
- If a project is abandoned due to reasons other than force majeure after the selection, it may be subject to sanctions when participating in the project in the future.
- Where the submitted documents are falsified or illegally prepared by other means, sanctions may be imposed, such as cancellation of selection and restriction on participation in future projects of the Seoul Business Agency.
- The request and evaluation schedule of supplementary documents shall be notified individually to the email address of the representative (or person in charge), and if the supplementary documents are not submitted due to unidentified or mistaken contact information, such as an email address, shall be regarded as a waiver.
- The details of the notice above may be changed according to circumstances.
